Sorry it’s taken me a little while to get back to you!
We’ve had such a jam- packed schedule and I’ve been busy catching up with staff and children.
It’s worth taking stock at times too and looking at what we’ve achieved in our school.
I showed a parent of Pre- schoolers our school this week and it was fantastic to see it through their eyes- as well as hear what our children think of our school. Our pupil leaders told our visitors that we make learning fun, we tailor the learning to their needs and we set the right level of challenge.
What more can I ask for? I am so proud of the effort everyone puts in on a daily basis- we have setbacks like any other community, but we learn from them and become stronger .
Our visitors left saying what an amazing school we have – and for a new parent who has to come to terms with letting go of their baby, we inspired their confidence.
Our recent loss of a very dear colleague and friend has led me to reflect on the journey I have had with the school and the privilege it has been to witness the growth and development of our wonderful children. Yesterday I had such fun with year 5- who were my first babies here- they started the same day as me! I remember meeting parents for my first visit and I am so proud of the journey we have taken together.
They have amazing times ahead, not least the work we were planning on Thursday when the RSC visited/ put July 7th in your diaries. We have lots of fun on the horizon!
