I have just boarded the train for London on my first leg of the journey to New Delhi. It’s with a mixture of excitement , nerves and some
sadmess as I waved Mr H goodbye. I am sure the week will change me in many ways, as any new experience does, but particularly one such as this. I am really looking forward to sharing my thoughts and learning with you all , as well
as the differing perspectives I meet.
I really hope this trip has much to teach all of us in our small corner of the world and brings the wider world a little closer to our families and our children.
It has been a wonderful few days sharing their individual achievements and hopes for thai year as well as our breakfast today and Harvest celebrations. We love spending time with our wider family and celebrating the amazing children and school we have.
Having worked across the world and in a number of schools I know how unique our achool is-many people recognise this in terms of the care and support our children and families receive as well as the commitment our staff afford to their own learning and development to ensure they tailor learning to the children they teach.
i couldn’t ask for a better team. I know they will have a fabulous day tomorrow and will already be planning ahead for the incredibly long Autimn 2 half term we face- and we have some great events planned already.
Have a fabulous half term- I hope you all get a chance to spend some time together as a family, enjoy some books and stories and do some exploring of your own.
Much love… I will attempt to blog on my journeying! Keep an eye on Twitter too x
