What a week we had last week!
It was Shakespeare week and we spent some time looking at The Tempest.
We looked at piece of the text that was describing a storm. To start with we found the language a little confusing but the more we unpicked and explored the text the more we began to understand.
We painted some pictures of storms, worked collaboratively to produce a small piece of drama and wrote some phrases of our own from pictures of storms we had.
Here is our working wall with what we have so far.
This is a copy of the text we were working with, is there anything you can spot that could help us unpick the text further?
We very much enjoyed learning about The Tempest and we have realised that Shakespeare isn’t that scary at all! In fact it can be lots of fun! What do you think?
