In our commitment to developing a learning centred community we encourage everyone to reflect on their experiences and learning. We are proud of our staff’s commitment to lifelong learning and to improving learning for our children.

Currently we are working on an EEF funded project looking at metacognition and visible learning with the University of Melbourne and John Hattie.
Two staff are carrying on the work we started last year with the Mathshub, looking at developing Maths No Problem Mastery approaches.
Across our DSAT Cluster schools, Year 2 are working on a Maths project, Year 3 are looking Reading and Year 5 are looking at developing resilience to support transition.
In school, our Leadership team are using evidence based practice to support School Improvement strategies.
We are also developing spelling and active approaches to texts, building on last year’s Oracy work with the Royal Shakeseare Company, and Institute of Education Learning Network work on Reading comprehension.
